What We Do

We specialise in Pool & Spa Safety Barrier Inspections and Compliance Certification across Melbourne.

THE COMPLIANCE PROCESS

To get the ball rolling, you need a copy of the Pool/Spa Registration letter from your Council.
If you can't find yours or don't have one, don't worry, just call your Council and they will assist you.
The Pool/Spa Registration Letter states which Standard your Pool/Spa Barrier has to be Inspected and Certified under.
It also contains the Date of Construction of your Pool/Spa and other details.
A detailed report from us is given to the owner following each inspection.
It includes photos, diagrams and notations that make aspects of the inspection result clear.
The Barrier Compliance process will also be made clear and concise through the help available (over the phone via voice call, text, via face-time or via email) to address any questions or concerns.
Owners will be issued a Certificate of Barrier Compliance as soon as the barrier is found to be compliant.
Feel free to reach out, we are happy to assist with your Pool/Spa Safety Barrier Compliance/Certification.

Select the 'Checklists' button (page buttons are found at the top of the page) to see some helpful self-assessment checklists that the VBA (Victorian Building Authority) recommend.
It's a good idea to take a look at the one that is relevant to your Pool/Spa (according to your Registration Letter from the Council) before your inspection.

To view a checklist, tap the underlined checklist link relevant to your Pool / Spa Registration Letter below.

The Regulations state that an Owner of the land that the swimming pool or spa is on, must make sure the specified barrier is in place to restrict access and also make sure that it's properly maintained.
Regulations also state that Occupiers must make sure it can operate properly.
We go the extra mile to spend the necessary time to do the job right, not only when conducting inspections, but also in helping our pool and spa customers clearly understand compliance requirements, should any issues arise that need addressing.
This helps you avoid wasting time and resources by inappropriately executing Compliance solutions.
We’re there to help throughout the entire process.
Some people might find the quick and casual Inspection approach appealing, they just want to get their Certificate of Compliance and move on…
Does that sound wise?
That approach is precisely how many Owners and Occupiers are left exposed to nightmare legal problems in the rare case that the unthinkable happens (and sadly it does).
Really, for something that is only required every 4 years, wouldn't peace of mind and superior child safety be the better choice?
Your taking steps towards improving Child Safety around Pools and Spas is something very worthwhile and we thank and commend you for it.
We believe in transparent business operations and everything we do is on the books.
Our fee is $350 for an Inspection, including a Certificate of Compliance and the Comprehensive Report.
If a Reinspection is required (which also includes a Comprehensive Report) they are $150.
Our prices always include GST.
Payment is required before the Inspection is carried out.
If that all sounds fair and good to you, then you are the kind of person we take pleasure in assisting with Pool & Spa Barrier Compliance.
We look forward to helping you with it.
